Best practices in improving the sustainability of agriculture

Key findings from the development of an EMAS Sectoral Reference Document for the Agriculture sector

You are invited by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) and Directorate-General for the Environment to participate in a workshop on «Best practices in improving the sustainability of agriculture» that will take place on 6 July 2015 in Milan, Italy at the EU Pavilion of EXPO Milano 2015. The event languages are English and Italian (simultaneous interpretation).

The event

The event will showcase best practices to improve the environmental performance of the agricultural sector and contribute to the sustainability of food production. It will summarise the main outcomes of a 2 years collaboration between many experts from the sector and the JRC, in the framework of the development of an EMAS Sectoral Reference Document on Best Environmental Management Practice for the agriculture sector.
